Welcome to Vancouver Kiwanis Music Festivals 2025. Learn more below about becoming a participant in our Solo & Small Ensembles Festivals from April 5 to April 30, 2025.

NEW to registration this year!

*New registration system! - Music Festival Suite. Everyone is new to this system and will be required to create a new profile before registering. 

    • If a student is under 18:

      FIRST - TEACHERS MUST CREATE A PROFILE in Music Festival Suite before the student can be registered.

      NEXT - PARENTS CREATE A PROFILE and then add their child to their account. Parents will need to enter the teacher’s Profile ID when they add their child to their account.*

      *Teachers and accompanists are assigned a Profile ID after they create a profile.

    • Registration fees on the syllabus and the registration website will now be displayed with our usual $15 administration fee (per entry) already included.

    • You may want to use this Teacher Worksheet to organize your registration info for your students.

    • Many class numbers will be different than last year.

    • NEW CLASSES:

      -Sing and Play

      -Singer/Songwriter

      -Art Song Small Ensemble for singer and pianist

    • Contemporary Voice performers will now be amplified (Popular, Folk and Sacred, Jazz, Singer/Songwriter, and Sing and Play).

    • Intermediate Art Song must now be sung in the original language.

    • Accompaniment is to be performed on piano only, with the exception of own choice instrumental accompaniment for the Contemporary Voice Division, Folk Song and the Sing and Play categories.

How to register if I am a…

  • TEACHER

    1 - Read the Syllabus

    2 - Review the General Rules and Regulations

    3 - Make sure you have:

    *Class and repertoire info (you may want to use this teacher worksheet to gather information)

    *Student’s Profile ID (Parent and student must create profiles before you can register them)

    *Accompanist’s Profile ID (can be added later)

    4 - Login to Music Festival Suite to create a profile for YOURSELF FIRST

    5 - Add a student to your profile or for small ensembles, create a GROUP

    6 - Register student or GROUP for classes or fill out teacher worksheet to give to parents so they can register their child

    7 - Parents need to finish the registration by completing payment

    8 - View your personalized schedule in Music Festival Suite

  • PARENT

    1 - Read the Syllabus

    2 - Review the General Rules and Regulations

    3 - Make sure you have:

  • Small Ensemble

    Read the Syllabus

    Review the General Rules and Regulations

    Parent and Teacher both create a Profile in Music Festival Suite

    GROUPS

    1 - Teacher makes their own Profile.

    2 -Inside their Profile, Teacher adds Group Profiles for each participating small ensemble.

    3 - Teacher registers Group and pays

    4 - Teacher informs all the members of the small ensemble of any scheduling that happens.

    DUET OPTIONS:

    Duet is of two children who share the same Parent - Parent can register them.

    Duet is of a Teacher and Student - Teacher must identify themselves as a self-taught Teacher by making their own Profile an Entrant with their own ID as their Teacher.

    Duet is of a Parent and Child - Parent should also then identify themselves as a Teacher both for themself and for their Child.

    Duet is of two adult performers - While likely both adults will have identified themselves as self taught, one of the adults should also identify the other as a second Teacher, and it is that person that would enter the registration.
